Isis- The Goddess of the Home, Marriage, Ambition, Healing, Magick, & Women.
 
One of the most significant goddesses in ancient Egypt was Isis, also known as Egyptian Aset or Eset. Her name is a translation from the Greek of an Egyptian word meaning "throne."
 
Isis began as a minor deity without any specific temples of her own, but as the dynasty period went on, her stature increased until she was one of the most significant gods in ancient Egypt. 
 
The worship of Isis then expanded throughout the Roman Empire, from Afghanistan to England. Pagans still hold her in high regard today. She served as a major deity in funeral ceremonies, healed the sick, and brought the dead back to life via magic, and was an inspiration to all women as a mother.
 
Isis had close ties to Egyptian kingship and was frequently shown as a stunning woman with a sheath garment, a hieroglyphic throne sign, a solar disk, or cow horns perched atop her head. She at times was also depicted as a scorpion, bird, sow, or cow. 
 
The fable about Isis was created by the priests of Heliopolis who were worshipers of the sun deity Re. They revealed that Isis was the sister of the gods Osiris, Seth, and Nephthys and the daughter of the soil god Geb and the sky goddess Nut.
 
Isis was a queen who was married to Osiris, king of Egypt. She provided for her husband and taught the Egyptian women how to weave, bake, and make beer. 
 
However, out of resentment, Seth devised a plan to murder his brother. Seth imprisoned Osiris within an ornate wooden chest, covered it in lead, and dumped it into the Nile. 
 
Seth took over as king of Egypt after his brother went missing. But Isis was unable to let go of her husband, and she looked in vain for him before she finally found him at Byblos, still encased in his chest. When she returned with his body to Egypt, Seth found the chest and, in a fit of rage, chopped his brother into pieces, which he then distributed all over the place.
 
Isis was able to locate and put together the pieces of her deceased husband's body after changing into a bird with the aid of her sister Nephthys; only his penis was missing. She was able to heal Osiris using her magical abilities; he had been bandaged and had turned into a mummy, which was neither alive nor dead. Isis gave birth to Horus, his son, nine months later. Osiris was compelled to flee to the underworld, where he rose to power as the ruler of the dead.
 
Isis remained hidden with Horus in the Nile delta marshes until her son was old enough to avenge his father and take the kingdom. When snakes and scorpions tried to attack the youngster, she protected him. But because Isis was also Seth's sister, she erred when Horus and Seth finally engaged in combat. Isis was beheaded by Horus in one episode after showing compassion for Seth (the beheading was magically undone). She and Horus eventually made amends, which allowed Horus to ascend to the Egyptian throne.
 
Isis was the ideal traditional Egyptian wife and mother—happy to blend in when things were going well and capable of using her intelligence to protect her husband and child if necessary. 
 
She acquired the reputation of a goddess of protection due to the sanctuary she provided for her child. Her most notable persona, however, was that of a powerful magician, whose abilities exceeded those of all other gods. 
 
She is described in several stories as possessing magical abilities that much outweigh those of Osiris and Re. In addition to protecting the deceased alongside the goddesses Nephthys, Neith, and Selket, she was regularly invoked on behalf of the sick. Isis' personality and powers evolved as a result of her associations with numerous other deities, such as Bastet, Nut, and Hathor.
 
Isis became regarded as the "Eye of Re" and was compared to the Dog Star, Sothis (Sirius), along with other goddesses in the Egyptian pantheon.

The process of making our potion elixirs:
 
Each bottle comes from a large master potion elixir oil jar that it infused with magickal herbs, crystals, and additional talisman's and charms James has made specifically for their intention. Some of these (especially the curse, wealth and protection oils) might have snake skins or other animal parts in little mesh bags inside the oils, so I would not assume these oils are vegan. Some are, but some wont be. We cannot make a non vegan oil vegan unfortunately.
 
Each intention has it's own large master potion elixir oil jar. James and Audra have been casting on these potion elixir oils for over a year now and during very special events including new and full moons, eclipses, lions gate, 11/11 etc. This means they've been infused with an incredible abundance of magick.
 
When you order a potion elixir, Audra will siphon a small amount out of master jar and will place it in a little cup with your name and date of birth written on a paper in it. She will then do a spell to bind that oil specifically to you, ask for it to listen to your commands and to manifest the wishes you ask from it. She then bottles it for you, places a label and sends it your way.
